When we leave the house...there always has to be a chauffeur so I can sit in the back and handle an emergency situation and watch her oxygen sats. Plus I need help carrying all her equipment.
When we leave the house...we try and plan more than one appointment because it's a lot of work taking Emmalynn out and I have to work around my chauffeurs schedule.
When we leave the house...we take the following: car seat, stroller, oxygen tank w/ mask, diaper bag, emergency go bag (in case I need to bag her or do an emergency trach change), suction machine (for her trach), pulse ox machine (for her oxygen sats and heart rate), feeding pump, oh and Miss Emmalynn!
When we leave the house...it's a lot of work and we usually need a nap afterwards!
She is worth it!

I hope you don't get annoyed with how much I tell you how adorable she is, because she is, I lov her little cheeks!! How long do you have to take all that stuff with you? Till her year due date birthday?
Nope, we will carry this equipment with us every where we go until she is decannulated {the trach comes out} and even then if the g-tube isn't gone we will still need the feeding pump.
