Jaron Stirling Fletcher

(At least that's what they think his name will be) was born yesterday at 6:07 pm. He weighed in at a whoppin 9 lbs 1oz and 22 1/2 inches long! That's one BIG BOY! We are so happy for Jaron and Jen! We love you guys! Welcome to our family "Jayster" (a nickname my mom gave the baby)!

Hannah Elizabeth Olsen

Our niece Hannah Elizabeth Olsen was born last night at 9:17 pm. As our brother-in-law Bill put it, she weighed in at a dainty 10 pounds even (Diana has big babies)! We are so happy for their family! She will be showered with love and kisses! There isn't a child more loved or wanted!

Super Bowl

So our train didn't leave until 7:30 am, which was great because it WAS scheduled for 4:50 am. We raced home and then on over to Phil's bosses house for a Super Bowl party! Too fun!

When we got home we crashed! It's been a crazy weekend!

6 Years!

Thursday night after Phillip's work party we stayed at the Hotel Colorado. The next morning he surprised me with tickets to Utah! Not just any tickets...train tickets! So we borded Amtrak at 5:30 pm (3 1/2 hours late) and got to Utah at 1:00 am.

After a little bit of sleep, we started our day off with a yummy breakfast...then on to shopping!!! We had a lot to do in a short amount of time. And of course we HAD to hit the scrapbook stores. My husband is the most wonderful man in the world because he never once complained! He's the best! We were even lucky enough to take my cousin Tyler to lunch.

After a long day, we did find time to have a nice dinner and celebrate our 6th Anniversary!!! Once again my husband surprised me with a sweet and thoughtful gift.

This means the world to me! It is a gentle reminder to not lose hope and that someday we will have a family. Did I say I LOVE THIS MAN?! He is too good to be true!

New C.D.

I'm so excited because I got the new Norah Jones c.d. today! I had a gift certificate so it was only a few dollars! I got hooked on her music back when I was a nanny. I love lighting a candle, turning on one of her c.d.'s, and scrapbooking for hours. I find her voice calming and her music inspiring. Weird huh?!
