We were so lucky to have Champ as our family dog! He was such a good pet/family member! We're going to miss his ADD personality and all the silly things he did to make us laugh! Phillip is going to miss having someone to play soccer with, and I'm going to miss the way I would put my chin on his lips and he'd hold really still for a few seconds then lick my chin really quick! He was so great with kids and loved everyone he met. He had a million names and songs that me and my mom bestowed upon him. To name a few...my poopy puppy, babies, Champer-D, stinky dog, and the list goes on. He truly will be missed!Champ was killed by 3 pit bulls a few days ago. My heart breaks because I know he must have suffered. Through this whole ordeal though I've learned something. My brother is going to be so mad that I'm talking about him like this, but he truly is such a Christ-like person. See Champ has been living with Jen and Jaron this past year. A few months ago, these pit bulls got a hold of Champs lip through the fence and he had to have stitches. Then when my brother came home the other night to find Champ, he wasn't hateful, in fact when I talked to him on the phone HE calmed ME down. He told the neighbor that he knew what he needed to do and that this is an experience they would both take from. Who says that?! My brother. He is the most forgiving, loving, Christ-like person I know! Now of course we're sad and my heart goes out to my brother because Champ was very special to him. He helped Jaron through some tough times with his anxiety. So here's to Champ, the best dog in the world!
